I called in advance to say I'm a phobic patient and was told that Dr. Scarazzo is caring and patient with people like me. This was not the case at all for me. After an hour of a thorough pre-exam with the hygienist with no problems at all -- in fact, she even commented at one point, "You don't seem phobic" -- the dentist hurriedly came in. He asked me, borderline sarcastically, what caused my phobia but then cut me off almost instantly to correct my dental terminology and tell me he'd give me Valium. He never did hear my reason for my fear; he became dismissive, curt, impatient, and actually told me himself he is "gruff," and he can only give good care if he's "given good circumstances to work under." This went on for a bit, to which I said it was making me nervous, and he stood up, threw his gloves down with a look of exasperation, and said, clearly annoyed, fine, then I'll come back after your cleaning. He was up and out of the room before it even registered what he was doing, much less having time to say a word. I had my cleaning but declined seeing him again as he'd made it very clear I was an annoyance and I certainly didn't want his "gruffness" in my mouth with sharp tools and an angry demeanor. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses. Dr. Scarazzo, you don't have the temperament to work with phobic patients. That's fine -- I understand I could possibly take up more of your time by requiring a little patience -- just have your receptionist say so when people like me call in advance, asking if you accept phobic patients, trying to avoid exactly what happened to me today.

Dr Scarazzo and his staff are awesome: each of his staff is so caring, helpful, accommodating and friendly - as is Dr Scarazzo. Moreover, Dr Scarazzo excels at taking the time to explain any problem, the medical science behind it, the choices of treatment with the pros and cons and, unlike many other dentists, he has recommended simple inexpensive treatments over those that would benefit him financially. When he smiles, as he always does, it's because he cares! My entire family LOVES him and his genuinely competent and caring staff!

Dr. Scarazzo and his staff are absolutely fantastic!! They always make me feel comfortable when I come in and the work that they do is always great. I highly suggest coming to this office for all of your dental needs. You'll definitely come out smiling:)

I have been going to this young, energetic dentist since my former one retired. I became acquainted with Dr. Scarazzo through my elderly parents when I drove them to his Warminster office for visits. I was so impressed with him that I quickly became his patient. He closed the Warminster Office and is now located near the Mercer Tile Works. I am now 62, had a big gap between my front teeth, and today I had my first cosmetic dentisty. He was able to close the gap and I can smile again, without a closed mouth smile!
