Hornsby Dental
Reviews
Highly recommend for your family dentist. My family have been patients at Hornsby Dental for years and they have been able to take care of all of my family's dental needs. Both my teenager children have had Orthodontics with great results and the Venner/cosmetic dental work has been great for myself. Thanks for dental care over the years, especially from a patient that is normally scared of going to the dentist!
Hornsby Dental is the best. I went to Hornsby Dental last week, because one of my upper teeth was hurting. When I booked I told them I was nervous and they recommended Dr Phillip. On the day he first took an x-ray of my teeth and explained in simple terms the reason I was feeling pain was due to decay. He then proceeded to explain that the best way to treat it was to get some fillings done. I decided that I would get the fillings done then and there. I again told Dr Phillip that I was nervous. Dr. Philip was very caring during the whole procedure. He explained every step before he proceeded to do it. This helped calm me down and made me feel more comfortable as there were no surprises. After the filling was finished the receptionist was really friendly. She reminded me not to eat on the side that had the fillings done and wait till after the numbness had worn off. A few days later I had a lovely call from them asking how my teeth were after the filling. I said they were feeling great and hadn't had any more pain. They said if I have any future problems to let them know and Dr Phillip would be more than happy to see me. It was the best experience I have ever had at a Dentist. You can tell everyone who works there really care about their patients. Will definitely go back for my regular check ups and cleanings. I have told all my friends and family to go.
I highly advise not going to this dentist. I booked in when I had a tooth ache, they saw me the next day which was fine, what was not fine was the fact that the dentist was running 40 minutes late as he had obviously over booked and seemed tired and cranky by the time I walked in. I advised Mark the dentist the owner of the practice that I was very nervous and he seemed amused by this, chuckling to the nurse when I needed to use the bathroom and that I was in pain as the anaesthetic was not working. He was agitated when I asked him to stop as the anaesthetic had not taken effect. I waked out in more pain then when I went and very upset. I ended up having emergency dental work done that following evening by a different more caring dentist, who actually took 5 sec to listen to me . The receptionist was lovely and very caring. I have lived in the Hornsby area for a very long time and have never come across such an unprofessional company.
Go see Dr Mark Nieh, he will bring your smile back for sure!
Just saw Dr Phil this afternoon. Nice guy, very thorough with explaining treatment and all the options available. Bringing the family back.
