Absolutely a waste of time & money! Took my son as is unco-ordinated and has poor gross motor skills. All I was given was a list of activities to do at home with him such as hop-scotch or having friends over to play (for the cost of $90). Was not given any suggestions or examples of actual exercises to do with him (such as crawling) or suggestions on how to teach him to hop and walk down steps two at a time. Moved to Adelaide and a year later we managed to see a public health Physio who diagnosed my son with dyspraxia (problems with fine and gross motor skills). How can a "professional" physio not be able to see that my son has dyspraxia?
Upon arrival to the clinic this afternoon I was greeted by the lovely receptionist, and although I had to wait a little after my appointment time the physio was apologetic and friendly. Unfortunately I can't remember who I saw, but she stated that she was new to the clinic. She was very helpful and friendly and professional. Obviously physiotherapists appointments are rather pricy, but I feel that I will benefit from the exercises that were given to me, and feel positive about my experience which I can't say is often the case with other specialist doctors. I had read the previous google reviews, the most recent being very negative. But I must say that I'd certainly recommend the particular physiotherapist I saw as she took her time to cover everything and made no effort to rush me out the door although it was obviously well past her home time. I'll be visiting again.
I've been into Top Health Physiotherapy a few times for physio and acupuncture and their staff are excellent. It's pretty easy to get an appointment and I always walk out feeling a million miles better after every treatment.
