I went into this clinic first thing in the morning and waited for the doors to open, there was already 5 people ahead of me. After waiting two hours i was seated in a patient room and the Doctor came in right away. I had just seen my eye specialist the day before who informed me an on going eye problem is getting worse and he believes this is a medical condition. I started to explain to the Easthill Doctor my concern and the previous conversation I had with my eye care specialist and he looked at me as if this was a joke and asked "and what are you needing me for today?" I knew immediately this was not going well. I asked for blood work (I'm going blind in my left eye, it's losing motor function, and it's constantly swollen) to rule out any major diseases as I was scared. He already had his hand on the door handle to leave the room and said "I'll look at your blood work (I had negative tests from a year ago) but I'll make a side bet that we won't find anything" he then walked out of the room and went into the next patients room. I didn't even wait for his nurse to pull my chart, I got up and left in tears. Would never recommend this business to anyone.
I realize this is a busy clinic but every interaction I've had in person or over the phone has been curt and rude. Don't even get me started on the 20 min long phone message to get a real human being. The doctors are great but the front end staff are definitely lacking in basic human treatment skills. I'm a human just like you and would appreciate being treated as such rather than a pain in the butt.
I have a family doctor as this place. THREE years ago I called to book an appointment for MY FAMILY doctor (Dr.Grundling) for my prenatal care. the front desk told me NO he couldn't see me, Even though I am his FAMILY PATIENT. I went else where for my delivery, didn't even have prenatal care. After my daughter was born, I went back, trying to get appointments for pap tests (cervical cancer runs in my family 9/10 women in my family alone have died from it, and I need test every 6months) I was told NO to call back in a few months, I did just that. told to call back AGAIN in 2 months, then told to call again in January. NOPE. call again in a few months, I gave up. now 2 years LATER. i called AGAIN for an appointment with my FAMILY doctor. and was AGAIN no. even tried booking an appointment for my daughter ( her speech isn't good, and need a pedi for consult) and AGAIN was told NO. call back in Feb!!! the front staff people are no good. they ALL need to be fired, and this clinic needs REAL staff to run the place! Even going into the clinic the girls there are a bunch of bitches and have NO respect or anything else for anyone that comes in or phones. RUDE!
Very poor staff. After being told repeatedly that I had to wait until April 5, 2013 to make an appointment with Dr. Rosseau I called the clinic at 8:35 and was informed that he is completely booked for April and May. They could have told me that when I called originally. If anyone wants to see why healthcare needs a shakeup all they need to do is go to this clinic to be ignored and mistreated by the supposed professional staff. Please take your business elsewhere!
I have been to this clinic many times, and have seen many different doctors. I chose to wait to see Dr. Grundling, because he had been one of the friendliest in the past. My most recent experience with him, however, left me feeling like garbage. When I asked to be referred to a dermatologist, he reacted negatively, crumpling up the prescription he had been writing for my eczema and saying that he would no longer give it to me if I wanted to see a specialist. With no idea when the specialist (from Edmonton) would be there, I clarified that he was no longer going to treat my sore and irritated hands. He seemed very irritated, even angry, and I left crying with no treatment. I chose to go talk to a pharmacist instead.
