I walked into Athlete’s Care with a sour attitude and left leg limp. Weeks later, I walked out with a smile on my face and no limp. At my first encounter, the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly when informing me about the services and guiding me into the right direction which led me to chiropractor Dr. Melissa Givelos. After my first visit with Melissa, I felt as though I had already started to make progress towards my rehab. She walked me through my exercises, helped me understand my boundaries when continuing my day-to-day activities and set out my treatment goals. Throughout my treatments she followed up with me and monitored my progress while adjusting her treatments and my exercises. It was also cool to watch her on the video’s online.

My son suggested I see a physiotherapist at Athlete’s Care so I went to see Laura at their North York location. I’m glad I listened b/c I’ve never felt better. I had a pain in my knee that wasn’t even coming from my knee. She looked at my back and hip and started working on different areas barely touching my knee at all. I am now pain free and can actually do my daily walks again without pain. Thank you Laura for giving me back my favourite form of exercise and teaching me how to use my body and muscles properly.

I would highly recommend seeing anybody at Athlete’s Care if you have any problems with your body. I have seen a physio, chiropractor and a massage therapist over the past 4 or 5 years. Never had a bad experience, although sometimes hard to get somebody on the phone. They tend to be busy but always make the time to call me back and take care of my needs.
