I have worked in the chiropractic field for several years and I am honoured to work at the Merivale Chiropractic Clinic. The Doctors are so knowledeable and really care about the patients and that they deliver the treatment they need. Afterall if you want your body to function optimally your nervous system must not have any interference. I love coming to work everyday as it's so rewarding to be able to assist people to live their best life.

I went to see Dr. Leo Lachowich on the advice of my mother. I had neck pain. Leo asked me if I ever felt pain anywhere else, so I related some infrequent back pain, nothing major. He adjusted my neck and back, which set off a year and a half of agonizing back pain which *WAS NOT THERE BEFORE*. Hours after the initial adjustment I started noticing an unusual pain at the junction between my thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. My mother explained the pain would get worse before it got better, so I decided to go back. Bless her, but I don't think she realized the severity of the situation. After explaining to him that I started experiencing unusual back pain, he very quickly excused himself and got a waiver for me to sign so he could remove himself of any responsibility for my health. I foolishly signed it, since I was 18 and not very educated regarding these practices, especially since I would consider a medical professional to have my best interests in mind. I get emotional typing this. I spent a year and a half thinking chiropractors were quacks and enduring terrible pain that seemed inescapable. I grew despondent and suicide seemed like a reasonable option. To put my dislike of this person in a very simple and easy to digest way: stay away. If you are a medical professional then you have a responsibility to care for your patients. The routine and indifferent attitude Leo held when he left to get a waiver leaves me with the impression that he does not have any passion for healing people. I know I am biased, but the simple manner which he held and by his lack of compassion, I feel it is my duty to let people know he seems to be a vile person. I have since been convinced to revisit another chiropractor, learning that the practice itself is not the issue, it is the practitioner. My back pain was healed to a reasonable degree, but not after over a year of physical pain and mental torment. I often wonder if the infrequent back pain I experience now is a direct result of those two visits to this clinic in Merivale Mall. If you have read this far, I urge you to stay away from this clinic. Visit chiropractors who display concern for your well being and not just for your money.

I have been a patient at the Merivale Chiropractic & Massage Clinic for about six months and it has been a very positive experience for me. Drs. Leo and Tatyana are both very helpful in explaining what adjustments need to be done and are quick to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. They make you feel at ease and are genuinely invested in your health and progress. The front desk staff are all wonderful, friendly, and also very helpful. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking chiropractic care.
