Publix Super Market® at Mountain Cove Crossing
Reviews
I love this Publix. Most of the employees know me by name and LOVE my toddler. He is greeted each time we come in and has even been given gifts by those employees who have grown to love our family. This location definitely is a big company with a small, mom & pop feel to it.
Bailey Cove store is a nice neighborhood grocery store. Most of the staff are very helpful. Huntsville in general has the least friendly employees of the stores I've been to, but the apron lady at the store on University at Colonial Promenade Madison is one of the friendliest and most helpful of all the Publix employees I've encountered even those in Florida.
It would be much better if they would get rid of a couple Customer Dis-Service staff. Most are friendly (and cute) but a couple are mean and wont even say goodbye, have a nice day, or whatever. They just give you this nasty look. Even the mentally challenged employees are nicer than those two. I've told management and they obviously don't care because they still work there and their attitudes remain unchanged.
I have been going to this location from the day they opened. Last year I spent over $4,000 at this location. Yesterday I went to stock up on my months supply of drinks like I ALWAYS do. But this time the manager came up to me and said "only 10 of one type per day, we need to have some for others"."You can come back tomorrow and get 10 more." The guy in the back and I, made sure there were plenty left for other people. I went back and put ALL 54 2 litters back. Publix ordered so many because I requested it. Now I'm getting treated this way. Hate to do it but, I'm going to Wal-Mart from here on out. I had Palermo's pizza being shipped there, too bad I'm not returning again. Loved it, now offended.
I'm continually impressed by the employees at this store. Very helpful and kind.
