This place is a ripoff. I had partials made and filling done on a tooth with amalgram. So much of the tooth was drilled out until a shell was left. She half filled the tooth and now the porcelin filling is coming out and the tooth is breaking off because it's so thin. I lost the top part of my partial and went back to get it made. She wanted to double the price from what I first paid. I went over to Valley Dental and got it for half the price. Ruby
Although the dental office is really modern and nice, I don't recommend Oasis! My husband and I both had huge wait times and got ripped off at our separate appointments. I had to wait close to 2 hours before I was even escorted back to the chair where I waited another 30-45 min. for the hygentist to even come in. They think if they pop a movie in while you're waiting in the chair that it's ok for you to wait. I was then not told that my insurance would not cover the oral cancer scening and wound up paying $60 extra for that. I also had to wait another 30 min. for the dentist to come for her final check and to fill a cavity. And then when I went to check out, I was told I had gingivitis (never had any issues before) and was strongly encouraged to buy a $25 mouthwash that also wasn't covered on my insurance. On top of that, I wasn't given the option on having the filling that was covered by insurance, instead they used one that wasn't covered. My checkups should be free with my insurance but I received a bill for over $200 for that visit. My husband also had long wait times and was also told that he had gum issues and was encouraged to buy the same $25 mouthwash (he forgot my story about it) so we now have $50 worth of mouthwash that isn't necessary. I of course changed dentists and had a clean checkup with no mention of gingivitis and walked away paying nothing out of pocket! Total different experience! Find another dentist.
