Poor, poor, poor!! He drilled my daughter's tooth out to do a filling. THEN he decided she needed a root canal. I really don't know why he couldn't tell from the xrays before he began. He had numbed her but she stopped to talk to us about the root canal. So she goes back in and he continues to drill. She tells him how bad it is hurting but he just keeps saying oh I'm almost done. By then she's crying and he continues anyway. Wish I had been in there!!! He never numbed her any more, just continued drilling. I definitely would not recommend him. If you do, make sure you stay in the room with your children. And get a treatment plan up front so he doesn't change the plan once he starts working on you. We will definitely never use him again.

I am not pleased with this dental care. The staff is great, however Dr. McKinney does not have enough experience to be good. He is knowledgeable but needs practice numbing his patience. I have had 4 experiences with his numbing capabilities and they are sorely lacking. It could be me but I will be changing to a dentist that has more to offer.
