Went there very sick to see a DR on a Saturday morning. Waited 30 min to see the Dr. on staff that day who saw me and told me to go home and wait 5 days until I get better. Went home and my condition got worse and I was in pain for several days. Terrible experience.It was a waist of time & money to see a Dr. that Sat morning at AFC!

Worst Urgent Care clinic in Alabama. I have been in several times and the result is always the same. Several hours waiting, a few minutes with whatever doc they have on for the day, and done. It is SO SLOW. My most recent visit was this past Sunday, where I waited for 4 hours to be seen. I keep telling myself I wont go back. That was the last time I will be there. I'd rather suffer thru the sickness than put up with their crap again.

Took my 5 year old son after a fall in which we thought he might have broken his collarbone. It was a Saturday morning - waiting area was not crowded, paperwork was simple, and we were called back in less than 10 minutes. Everyone on the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and helped to make my scared child comfortable. We had a diagnosis in less than a half hour and were on our way.

I've been to this AFC three times in the past year since I moved to the area. The very first time I was tempted to write a review, but honestly I didn't want to draw more attention to the place because I didn't want it to get too crowded! After I went last week, though, I decided it was really time to finally give a review. All three times, I've been in and out of the office within an hour, even when several people were in the waiting room before me. The staff and nurses are all very nice and friendly, and I especially like Dr Frierson. She takes time to explain things and has a very positive attitude. I have never had a problem with paying my bill, unlike the other reviewer. The office also does a follow-up call the day after each visit, just to ask if everything went okay and if you're feeling any better, which is very nice. All in all, I highly recommend this office.
