My husband and I have been going to Dr. Martin for my eye care for many years. We highly recommend him and his staff to take very good care of you. He is great at explaining what he is doing and also great at taking the time to answer any questions you may have. His staff have always been very helpful and very nice. They always help us pick out frames (great selection, by the way) that look good on us. They are also great at letting us know what our insurance covers and what our cost will be for the selections we choose with frames and lenses. You won't be disappointed if you choose Dr. Martin's office as your place for eye care!

He takes the time to explain things to you so that you understand why he is doing the things he is doing and he ask you questions to better understand what is going on with your vision health. His staff are always so helpful and patient with me regarding my insurance. I have been seeing Dr. Martin for many years now, and he has always been professional, courteous, and in my opinion, the best optometrist in Tuscaloosa or for that matter in Alabama. He diagnosed a high cholesterol problem simply by doing an eye exam, one of which I was unaware and wouldn't have bothered to be tested for had it not been for his diagnosis. That aside, he and his staff are incredibly friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help.

The whole experience was WONDERFUL! When I walked in, the assistant called me by name like she had known for me years! That was a great feeling. They helped me understand my insurance better, and made the process so easy. The entire staff was welcoming and had a smile on their face.
