I must have gone on his worst most preoccupied days. The intake was good and the staff was very friendly however, the product received (a crown) was awful. I must have been one the first crowns with his new one day crown which took a second visit. When it was placed it felt like I had a popcorn kernel for a tooth in that it did not feel like a tooth it was just pretty flat and rounded no real tooth sculpting. It was not placed by the Dr. but instead placed by his dental tech.... hello, this should be done by the Dr in my opinion, and from all of my previous experiences, not the dental tech. But he was very busy this day and really excited about his trip to Disney which I got an ear full of in the few minutes he was in the office. He never did a tap test to see if I was hitting high. He had an awful lot of faith in that dental tech. I asked the tech a few question he came in and looked at her work and said good to go. The tooth never got any better, but got worse instead I waited for about a month for the pain to go away. I do have four other crowns so I know what to expect and this one was not normal. I did not want to see his dental tech again or him for that matter. I went to Dr. Tso in town and he replaced the crown with one that had to be sent out and shaped like a real tooth and placed by the Dentist. Amazing difference in fact so amazing that a year later the tooth feels great. I do not have insurance so I paid cash for that first crown, and the second one. Not a cheap deal. Maybe if your insurance company is paying you will not care what kind of work you get or if you need to have repeat visits... I just can't afford it and I assure you I did go back and ask for a full refund. I think he laughed at the idea. You never know till you ask right.

Unfortunately, I don’t have good teeth, which I blame on genetics, not my sweet tooth. With that being said, if I have to go to the dentist, (which I do) Dr. Long, with his friendly and professional staff is the best dental experience I’ve had. I am glad to have such a friendly and competent dentist in our little town of Wetumpka.
