Wow - this was a long-awaited, outstanding experience. I have been wanting to have an annual eye exam where I did not feel like one of the cattle being moo-ved through a long line. Dr. Wilhelmsen and her staff, Brenda and Margo, gave me individual attention. The Dr. did not just go from one part of the exam to the other to rush me through, but actually talked to me, explaining why she was doing each step and welcomed my questions. Excellent service. I will be recommending Innovate Eye Care to ALL of my friends and family.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I took my son to 3 different eye doctors in Bakersfield before I found Innovative and they would not see my son because with his disability he would have many tantrums, wouldn't allow the doctor to examine him. Just before deciding to finally take him to a specialist in Los Angeles I heard of this Innovative Eyecare through the radio and decided to give them a try. The Receptionst was nice and scheduled us so that we wouldn't have to wait long as well as be around other patients (in case my son threw a tantrum). But finally after 3 years my son finally got glasses and the Dr was able to work with my son...she had a good attitude if he wasn't cooperative and most of all patience....Also her prices on the frames were cheap, and for a good brand at that.

I thought the office was very upscale. Dr. Wilhelmsen is a great Dr and very informative. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will tell all my friends and family to go see Dr Wilhelmsen.
