Great office! Love the doctor and her staff! My glasses always arrive in the time frame quoted to me at the appt, and the staff goes out of the way to help with any questions, including, "do these frames look okay on my face?!" Very calm and patient staff and doctor, they all make me feel very at ease. I won't be going to any other clinic.

This OD is trying to take your money and give you Wal-Mart in return for it. She clearly cares more about money than she does your eyesight. Tries to rush you into a contract has an abusive manor and gets hostile when you aren't buying fast enough. The staff ignored me when I came in to shop for frames (hiding in the back until I left). I was finally refused service when I returned to buy the frames I chose because Dr Vanguilder didn't feel she was profiting enough from me. Her anger spells are a hazard that can result in inferior work and possibly injure the client. I Question her being fit to be in practice. Also note that her positive reviews all sound too good to be true, like they were written by Dr Vanguilder herself...

I had the worse experience dealing with these people. so many things come to mind ill just break it up. 1, i first came here in 10' and it was fine, everything went smoothly with the exception of one thing. I took my eye test, and ordered a pair of glasses, lenses and contacts. i had to pay quite a bit out-of-pocket but considering it was my first time having my own insurance i thought it was the norm. After some contemplating, i went back the next day to cancel the contacts because i really didn't need them. Stupidly, they said they couldn't refund my money because 'the order was already placed', even though it wasnt even processed yet! I ended up arguing with every girl in the office and finally they gave me store credit. Plain and simple, they tried to screw me out of 100 bucks. 2. I chose to go back in 11' simply due to lack of options and not willing to chance me having another bad experience elsewhere. I retake the test, and order my sports glasses with lenses for bike riding because thats what i needed. When i go to pick them up after a few weeks, the lady at the desk noticed i had a lot of scratches on the pair i got in 10', and since i had scratch proof lenses it shouldn't be happening so she ordered me a new pair of lenses. I go back after no call 3 MONTHS LATER and they say they've had them for two months and supposedly they called me numerous times. They take my frames, measure them for the new lenses, and take the lenses to the cutting machine so they can fit my frames. Wouldn't you know it, the machine chipped the damn lenses and they had to order a new pair. It is now a year later, and still no call. I went back last month to their new location and they have no record of it. Again, they screwed me out of money. With the new year, I'm due a new pair of glasses, and you bet you behind I'm never coming back here again. i don't recommend anyone coming here. Their office may be nice, they may have free water bottles and they may seem like they value your business, but they don't. Stay away.
