I was searching for a new dentist after my long-time dentist passed away unexpectedly last year. Went on the recommendation of a coworker, but have had nothing but trouble. Should have been clued in when they said that they wouldn't use my film x-rays from my last dentist, but I soldiered on. The cleaning was fine, but I was off put by their lack of service. For instance, they only call you back at their convenience. Once when accidentally disconnected, I called back immediately to receive the voicemail and asked to them to call me back. Which they finally did, 2 days later. Her response to why it took so long: 'I thought we were done talking'. Unfortunately, this isn't the worst. Before my dentist passed, I was in the middle of a dental implant procedure. The dentist doing the implant sent the records and parts to this new dentist for the crown etc. and they lost them twice. After searching, they finally found the second set. At this point, I had had enough and decided to switch dentists again. I sent them the release form and they refused to mail on the information, instead asking me to pick it up in person. When I did, all they handed me were the parts for the implant. Nothing of my past records were handed over. When I checked the envelope, I realized that my original x-rays were not part of the package. So I wen't back in the office to ask for them. I was met with the question: What type are they so I know where to look for them? They had them in a generic stack of film xrays, not in a folder with my name on it. I am no longer surprised that they lost the parts twice. In summary, this office is completely unorganized and unprofessional. I wouldn't darken their door again, but I still have to pick up the notes they didn't include in the packet of my records. What a mistake.
