Looking for an honest, caring, knowledable Dentist? Look no further! I have had extensive dental care done over the years, and have also worked for three dental practices in the past. New to Grand Junction, I had a Dental emergency which was not just a tooth ache or lost filling. I went in with a large gap in the front of my mouth where a crown attached to a post and core had fallen out, and left with my smile restored. Dr. Martin so impressed me with his expertise and honesty that I immediately referred him to the only people I had met so far in town. He explained all the options, giving his opinion on each. He additionally answered questions related to other dental problems, spent over an hour and a half with me never making me feel that I was rushing him or that he had other things to do, I am so very thankful that I was lucky enough to find this Dental practice and am going to pass on my wonderful find to everyone I meet.

We have been coming to Horizon Dental Care since we moved here in 2007. Dr. Martin is great. He is gentle and gets the job done while having a great chair-side manor. We were delighted with the new dental hygienist. She also has a terrific chair-side manor, and is also thorough while being gentle! We hope she stays with the group for a LONG time!

Dr. Martin and his staff make a great team, working in sync and accomplishing any procedure in a comfortable & quick manner. On my first visit I took advantage of the coupon they offered, several years later I am happy with the decision to give them a try. It is a non-intimidating office that is courteous & confident, I have found their prices are comparable to other dentist in the area. No one in my family experiences apprehension about going to the dentist, I love getting my teeth cleaned! He takes the time to answer questions, thoughtful about my concerns. Dr. Martin has been able to work with my families wide range of issues from fixing old filings, periodontal issues, crowns and the best fix for a receding gum line. The most amazing was when my youngest needed his wisdom teeth removed at the age of 17. His braces had been off for a year and then the wisdom teeth started coming in. I tried to prepare my son for what to expect, thankfully he had no issues - HOORAY! A couple days later it was a distant memory, the trick is to get them out before the roots take over. We highly recommend the foresight you will get with Dr. Martin.

I have been seeing Dr. Mike Martin since around 2005. The staff is always upbeat and friendly which helps since I like to joke around to calm my nerves. Recently I had my teeth cleaned (with modern zapping tools to get rid of the plague) which seemed to go faster than the old way of scraping with instruments. During the same visit I had to get a bottom tooth filled in as it had chipped off. I was grateful that I did not need to get a shot as I don't like needles in the mouth especially in the front teeth. When Dr. Mike finished his handiwork it felt perfect with my tongue and there was no need for any fine tuning - so to speak. It was done professionally, with care for my comfort and in a beautiful setting of the Book cliffs out his office windows. I would recommend Dr. Mike Martin to anyone who needs their teeth worked on.

I truly like having my teeth cleaned and today was no exception. Linsey took great care of me, even suggesting and fetching a warm blanket for me, as it was feeling a bit chilly today. She and Pat were very forgiving of my tardiness for the appointment -thank you!- when I should have been sent home with a re-scheduled appointment. I did not see Dr. Martin today, but he and everyone in the office are delightful people. If you are looking for a heartfelt recommendation for a new dentist, this is it! Good, thorough care, really comfortable chair, and look at the panorama!
