I went in to the urgent care because I am experiencing back pain that started in the middle of my back and shot down my arm. I was told that I needed to make an appointment and the earliest they had was on Monday(Three days later). I went there to hopefully avoid going to the emergency room, but alas, I am on my way there. I just wanted to make sure that no one else makes the mistake of going there. I believe that they just didn't want to take me because they were close to closing on a Friday and didn't want to be inconvenienced.

I have no complaints regarding the care I received. When I called to schedule an appointment I asked how much the charge is for an office visit and was told they wouldn't quote an amount. Apparently they like the bill to be a mystery. I prefer to be aware of my cost of care in advance. For your knowledge my insurance was billed $171.
