After months of putting up with a sore shoulder I visited my doctor who was zero help. Well, maybe that is a bit harsh. He did recommend I see a Physical Therapist. I called one office that had about 12 PTs and was informed that they only see patients who are referred by one certain doctor. It turned out I was glad they were so snobbish because I then called Bruce Langevin. Despite his long day and the fact that he was going on vacation the next week (he informed me of this and suggested I call someone else if I needed to be seen quickly), he did agree to see me after his last patient Friday evening. In discussing my shoulder I also mentioned a couple other problem areas just to see what he what say. He gave me more feedback and better information than the various MDs I have seen in the past regarding those conditions. I left his office feeling much better and this morning my shoulder was not as painful as it had been previously. I think this was mainly due to the fact that I had a better understanding of why my shoulder was hurting which the MDs never relayed to me.
