This is written under my daughter's google account. Saw Dr. Danna for a likely root canal, first-time patient. During the preliminary assessment the Dr. was unfriendly and terse and didn't make any attempt to try to help me relax or relieve any anxiety or apprehension I may have had. The Dental Assistant was silent but perhaps intimidated by the doctor. During the procedure the doctor became visibly annoyed when I experienced some minimal anxiety and discomfort and did nothing at any time to soothe me or make sure I was ok. When it was over she simply told me it was done and directed me out to the front desk where she stood by filling out a chart while an office worker handed me an information sheet about what to expect after the procedure and told me to call for any questions or problems. For a fairly major procedure such as this and the amount of money it costs I feel more effort should be put in to make it a more comfortable experience.
First time root canal patient. The overall service was excellent, from the minute i stepped in until I left. I had an issue with getting numb enough for the procedure, but the Dentist ( female, I forgot her first name!) took the time needed to make sure I was numbed properly. The procedure was around 2 hours, due to my issues with getting numb. I felt very little pain and they continued to check on my comfort. The office was well run and things went smooth. Today, the day after the procedure, I have almost no pain while just taking ibuprofen. I would recommend this endodontic to anyone who needs treatment.
Similar case to the other reviewer - after 16 hours of excruciating pain, begging for help to the health insurance provider, the ER of a (big) hospital, dental professionals that you have been seen before, and not getting anything but yelling and aggravation, I have finally found myself in the competent hands of Dr. Jacob Saidon, who managed to see for me and treat me, I am sure, over his lunch time. It is a place where they know pain, and the professionals and staff do not spare any efforts to make you comfortable and well assisted. I wish there would be more of these outstanding professionals around - they seem to be on some sort of "endangered species" list. M. C. Rodrigues, Feb. 26, 2009
