A Tropical Touch Salon & Spa

Bertha Wiggins, I just wanted to let you know how much I love my permanent eyeliner (upper and lowers!). I appreciate your speed, and patience, during the procedure too. By living in Illinois, I realize that I was unable to have my check-up appt. with you, but want you to know that my eyes look natural and just the way that I that I pictured they would turn out. I followed your instructions to the letter regarding the care of my eyes after the procedure...the hardest part was waiting to wear my eye make-up again. LOL. My friends wish they were located closer to you so that they could get the eyeliner-by-Bertha (as I call it) too! Thanks again; my life just feels so much easier now! Diane
I've been getting a massage or facial monthly from Pam at Tropical Touch for years. I'm always impressed with her skillful hands, her gentle and yet therapeutic touch. I often use her services instead of a chiropractor and have been helped immensely for neck and lower back problems. Facials make me feel as though I'm on Park Ave in NY but this spa is better, more homey, more friendly and yet very efficient and excellent regarding personnel and quality of services for far less than NY prices. Also, when I feel "punky" or a bit low, I'm always elevated and uplifted after an hour of either a facial and/or massage. That's why I keep coming back. By the way, the time alone under the steam mask is my meditation time. Tropical Touch is the best all-purpose salon in our area, and I and others are quite satisfied.
We went here for a facial, men's and women's. Although the ladies were nice who gave it to us, the overall experience was not as nice. They both left during the facial for more than ten minutes leaving the steam machine on us the whole time. I started to get nausea and had to push the machine away and almost walked out right then. It would have been much more nice to have a neck or head massage during that time, and then I could have told the lady how the steam was making me feel.
