LOVE THIS PLACE! Had many problems with availability of doctors elsewhere, was skeptical of walmart vision center, but went anyways. IT WAS GREAT! They helped me understand everything since it was my first time ever getting an exam and when they realized I did need glasses, she helped me figure out the best way considering my insurance. She was very personable and was very gentle with the exam. I would refer her to anyone! Adele Paul is a great doctor!

I recently had pink eye and went to see Dr. Adele Paul at the Vision Care Center located in the Wal-Mart in the River City Market Place in North Jacksonville, FL. Jessica her assistant was very efficient and helpful in having me see the Dr. that morning. She also took care of my Insurance that I thought may be a problem. Dr. Paul was thorough, caring and took the time to explain everything to me as it was not a normal eye infection. Originally I was a little concerned about going to an eye Dr. at Wal-Mart……but my experience with Dr. Paul was superb and so I will now arrange to see her for my regular eye exams as well.

Previously, I had terrible experiences at OTHER WalMart Vision Centers, and long ago swore completely off going to them. However, the affordability drove me to acquiesce, and I made an appointment with the very friendly Jim. When I came the next day, I had minimal paperwork to fill out, they did everything in their power to further lower the price, and the wait to see Dr. Adele Paul was very short. The assistant was helpful, kind, intelligent, and performed preliminary tests with speed and accuracy. Dr. Paul was very knowledgeable, yet friendly and approachable. After the visit I was given my perscription on a laminated card to carry in my wallet (LOVE IT!) I was then led to the eyeglass area to choose the best frames and lens options for me. The associate took her time and crunched numbers for 5 different possibilities- I never felt like she was trying to rush me, and she certainly didn't try to pressure me with expensive options. This is very important to me because I am analytic, and need time and thorough examination to make a decision, and I appreciated it. This experience ranks as the highest among my life-time of annual optometrist visits, and the experience was as nice as going to the Baptist Eye Institute, and very inexpensive. I heartily enjoyed it, and will be back again whenever I need assistance!
