GREAT News! This clinic is closed... the space is now the home of a NEW clinic, under new management, with Doctors on staff. It's called Primera Urgent Care and it does everything from regular office visits to emergency, walk-in, type care. Their rates are very reasonable, and they even have a "membership" option which will bring your costs, per visit, down even further... a great idea for people who either don't have insurance, or who use insurance with high deductibles or have an HSA they tap. The gals that work the front desk are super friendly and professional, and the whole atmosphere there feels more like "family." They even have a super nice complimentary coffee machine in the waiting room with flavored coffees.

Went there this morning and had an excellent experience. The staff were very helpful and caring. I will definitely be going back for future urgent care needs.

went there back in july i guess. they just recently opened. i prefilled the registration online, only be given a bunch of papers when you go there. what a waste of time. the guy told me to then just sign a few pages, after told him what is the purpose of online registration if i have to fill out the same papers all over again. dummy me, i should have listened to my gut feeling when this happened. i thought ill just go back to Centra Care but then i said ill just give this a try bec id like to use our "own" resources in avalon. huge mistake. then after waiting for at least 15mins, i was accompanied to go in one of the examination room. i said, wow, thats quick. but i was left in the room for 45 min. no doctor showed up nor that guy to just even update me if the doctor will be late. i had to run to the bathroom bec i had uti, i held it so that ill have a pee when ill be given the specimen container. on my way to the bathroom, i told the guy across the hall that no doctor ever showed up. so i hurriedly did my business in the bathroom as anyone with uti would do. i heard lot of knocking, i said, the bathroom is occupied. then more and more knocks.....i yelled this bathroom is occupied. i was fuming mad now. i have other than uti to deal with....so when i came out relieved, the guy handed me the specimen container, i said, you made me wait, 45mins in that room on top of 15 mins during registration, and you would only give me this now? he did apologize but i said too late. i told him i thought coming here was a short wait compared to the doctor's office thats why i came. all he did was apologize. then the doctor came and said oh you didnt wait that long, i went with the other pt just 20mins ago. rude. i know how long i waited, the guy knew it, and this doctor refuses to be responsible for her action. she explained that she had to see the family 1st because there are kids. i cant tell you how angry i was. my bp normally runs between 90's to 110's the most systolic, but when the doctor took it? 3 times 3 mins interval, it was 165, 168, 163.......she said youre still upset. i told her, tell me if anyone will be happy with what i went through. so please do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.....im not surprised they closed or they will close....i will never ever go back to this urgent care again.... centra care at waterford lakes is beyond compare....
