Dentila

Different dental experience for sure, sometimes you need to wait for the Dr. but he really takes the time to explain everything, so I guess is worth the wait. I don't think I'll ever visit the cheapest dental office in town so I don't mind paying a couple more bucks in Dentila, very nice office and very knowledgeable staff.

I started my visits with Dentilla last month when my insurance took effect. I will day that the office is very clean and nice but after my initial visit, knowing I needed work to be done, I started to have difficulty and pain from the 2 area's that I knew needed to be addressed. The pain became too much for me to bear and I called on 7-22-13 to set up an appointment making it clear that this was finacially a bad time but I questioned if they could bill me after the insurance does what is needed. Over the phone I was told yes and care was expressed to my discomfort. I arrive on 7-23-13 only to be told, after new xrays and consultation, that they cannot bill me and I would have to front over 800.00 or they cannot do anything. I asked about what was said they day before and I got dismissed as if I made it up. The Doctor even stated to me that he will "make the pain go away" today. I guess that is only for those who are will to pay the price. As I waited in the lobby to get final paper work for nothing being done I notice a sign that offers 12 months at 0 interest. When I asked about that I got dissmissed again by being told "that only applies if you have good credit." I do not feel that this buisness cares unless you pay the high price for them to be paid to care. What happened to customer service? I am to believe that everybody in the world has over 800.00 just lying around? I do well finacially but sometimes things are not always convienent. Sometimes bills are not perfect in perfect time. To be sent away, in pain, because I did not have 800.00 up front is just sad. My family, my freinds, and myself will NEVER be back to such a cold place again.

I am a 12 year old and i have been going to Dentila for 7 years now. I love Dr. Castro and Dr. Morales, who always have a big smile on their faces and continuously make appointments fun. I have had great dental health thanks to this wonderful team and i am constantly encouraging my friends to visit this place without looking back!

I usually don't take the time to write reviews but the first review for Dentila prompted me to do so. I've been going to this Dental office for almost five years now. It took me some time to find a good, honest Dentist when I moved to Orlando so I was pleased to visit their first office, then they moved to a bigger place....which is very very nice and I sure appreciate the fact that they are paying attention to details so patients can feel at home. All the staff is very friendly and kind but I especially go for the Doctors, I really lost all fear to visit the Dentist. Both doctors are very down to earth and take the time to patiently explain what is needed and why...and believe me, I ask all kinds of questions!!!! The hygienist is great as well. I do have to say sometimes is hard to schedule because they are booked in advanced but I rather have it that way because for me it means they have many happy patients like me. I've recommended them to all my family and some coworkers and they all agree in having a great experience. I pay what the dental insurance establishes as their fees so I don't think is fair to say they are expensive, if I pay for good dental insurance then I sure hope to find a good Dentist that is worth it.

Dentila is looking to pay off their office and machinery by having people do unnecessary dental work. Avoid this office! They just want money! I have been going to this dentist for a year. I've never had any problems with my teeth, a few simple cavities and braces when I was younger. The office is very nice and so is the staff. During my first visit to Dentila I was told I needed at least 2 crowns and one may be a root canal depending on what they find. They also did not check that my insurance did not cover full mouth or panoramic xrays so I got charged out of pocket for that. They pushed to have me make the appointment for the crowns within the next month which was when the first available appointment was. I said I would call and never did. I gave the XRs to my sister-in-law who works for a dentist and her dentist said everything looks fine and I don't need that work done. I went back to Dentila for my 6 month cleaning and was told that this time I need 2 crowns and a root canal and I need to have this taken care of immediately. I never went back. Today I went to a different office and they told me my teeth look great and there are no problems. The hygienist even said I was very easy since I take good care of my teeth.
