The team at this dental office is really nice. The lady at the front desk, Kim, is always peppy and knowledgable. She taught me about how my insurance works which was very informative. The dentist is super cool and down to earth. If you like hockey, even better for you. He's from Puerto Rico, by way of D.C. and N.Y.C. and is all about being green and earth friendly. I really feel like he's in it to have return customers and not just to get you to spend money "today". I was a dental technician/assistant/surgical tech in the Navy and saw that these folks really are doing it right. I hope you guys like this place 'cause I don't want to go to any other dentists!
I have been absolutely delighted with the care that I have received at Orlando Dental & Implant Studio. The doctor and the staff are a real pleasure, and extremely professional. Both qualitites are important when you need their help! This team seems to really enjoy themselves and their work. I would defintely recommend them to anyone, and have done so.
This office is very beautiful, modernly styled, and clean. The staff is really friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I had a questionable experience with my first visit there. I spent most of the time there with an intern who has been there for two weeks. She was very sweet, so I managed to be patient, but had to endure the longest process of x-rays I have ever experienced. During x-rays it is not comfortable to have the corners of the square plastic piece resting against your gums for long. I have to say it took at least 45 minutes of re-takes to get the x-rays.. (at the end of my cleaning they had her re-do some more x-rays on me that were not done correctly)... I was never asked at the beginning if I minded having an intern work on me, and when they finally did ask, it was too late. The dentist was friendly, but I was pretty confused when I did not feel any of the usual scraping around my gum line to do the cleaning. He sprayed some type of solution around my gums, and called it a day. I guess I am old-school, but I like to know someone has gotten in there and pulled out any gunk like I usually experience at other dentists every 6 months. They had the intern polish my teeth... she started out nice and attentive to each tooth, and I soon heard another worker (I am assuming it was a supervisor that could not leave her alone) mention they had to go pick their kids up at day care soon. I felt the intern speed up the process by simply smearing the polish across my teeth and having me rinse. She then tried to floss my teeth. From my past experience I have been told to lift the floss up into my gums to clean them out. I felt her put the floss between my teeth and rub the sides, but never touched my gums. Long story, but I feel my teeth were not properly cleaned, my time was wasted, and so was one of my teeth cleanings for the year that my insurance covers. I wish I would have known this all before and I would hate for anyone to feel the way I do. The office and people were great, but unfortunately appearance and customer service is only a fraction of what really needs to happen.
Amazing dentist...relaxing office...takes time to talk and explain your options...amazing staff that truly cares and tries to get to know you, and remember you which makes you feel important!
Would definetely reccommend this office! Green friendly...take the time to talk to you and explain your options very well. I was very afraid of the dentist but the doctor and his assistant made me feel very comfortable! The office on top of that is beautiful and brand new, couldnt ask for a better dental office!
