My family and I have used Dr. Lamensdorf for more than two decades because we love our eyes and the tremendous gift of vision they bestow upon us. Dr. Lamensdorf has always given us the expertise and care we desire. My cataract surgery turned out better than any artist could hope for; he continues to care for my eyes because I demand the very best vision possible. If you want a Doctor to hold your hand and sit on your lap; you should look elsewhere. This Eye man delivers results so you can see as well as possible.

Dr. Lamensdorf is competent but can be very brisk. The first time that I had met him I was impressed by his professionalism. However, subsequent meetings have resulted in a lowered impression. I sense an assembly line approach. Perhaps I was spoiled by the eye care professionals to whom I had grown accustomed in the North. They took a true interest in me as an individual and got to know me as a patient. I'm not looking for a friend in a patient/doctor relationship, but I feel much more like a number at this clinic. I'll await further visits to pass further judgement. At this point, I'll be happy with competent care.
