Yeah, so I took my nephew there and they said he needed 4 crowns and 2 fillings for some cavities. We thought that sounded weird(since he was only 5 years old) so we took him somewhere else for a second opinion. The dentist at the second place we took him to said his teeth were perfect and that he didn't need anything! Extremely furious that they would try to put a child through un-necessary pain like that! DO NOT GO HERE. AT ALL. They just want your money(or your insurances money) and will anything to get it.

Horrible, same thing happen to me with the insurance. I had given all my info over the phone so I thought once I got there I wouldn't have an issue. The lady in the front desk SUPER RUDE no common courtesy I said hello, ignored and then "just sign in and have a sit" ..get called after 25 min to fill out the same info I gave the 1800#, no prob. One Hour pass by I finally get called and she tells me my son doesn't have insurance :/ yes he does. But at this point I had seen it as a blessing b/c I really wanted to leave running. It was so DIRTY in there. I can just imagen how dirty the playing area is, and it STINK. I doubt anything in those waiting areas are sanitize. SO DIRTY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! RUN

My daughter and I had an appt. at the Columbus Ga. location last Wednesday, I recently changed insurance and called to make sure that they would take my new insurance and they told me yeah no problem. We arrived fifteen minutes prior to our scheduled appt. and I filled out the mountains of new patient paperwork. People kept coming in and getting called back meanwhile an hour had passed and we still had not been called back. I went up to the desk and asked why we were still sitting an hour past our appt. time and they said they were having issues verifying my insurance (I had just used at another doctors office before going Kool Smiles) with no problem. When they did finally call us back for our cleanings they informed me that I would have to reschedule because they only do one adult after 2 p.m. (keep in mind I had an appt.) so at the point I was done with this place so I got my records back from the nurse and went back out front to wait on my daughter. A couple of minutes later the nurse comes out and tells me my daughter isn't covered on my plan (not true, I called my insurance company to verify after we left there) and they wouldn't be able to clean her teeth. They brought us out some toothbrushes and floss and sent us on way. I live 45 miles from that location and I wasted my time and gas to this place (even though friends had told me not to go there) just to be disappointed. Thanks for nothing!

They will screw your billing and credit! I paid out of pocket and had $0 balance when I left and two weeks later I get a bill for $220. I go there and they tell me they will fix it. Three weeks later I get another bill for $111. I go there again and they say they will fix it, again. After another month or two I get another bill for $25. I go there again and they tell me not to worry about it and they will take care of it and put a note in my file. Tell me why a credit collection company called me the other day about Kool Smiles? Do not go there! DO NOT GO THERE!
