I went to see Dr. Fletcher in spite of all the bad reviews I read. I have to agree with all the bad reviews: !!! BOTTOM LINE: THE DOCTOR DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR CONCERNS, HE IS ONLY LOOKING TO FIND WAYS TO CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU DON'T NEED. - They overbooked, I waited an hour before I was seen by the Nurse for my scheduled appointment. I spent a total of 2 hours there for an initial intake appointment, but probably only seen the doctor for about 10 minutes. - I came in seeking a physical therapy/orthopedic referral for a pre-diagnosed knee injury (torn PCL) and chronic heartburn. - Dr. Fletcher ordered unnecessary procedures for an initial appointment: A circulation test and EKG, I'm a healthy 30 year old, recently passed a Military Flight Physical, I don't see the point of the additional tests. I ended up paying a total co-pay of $65 out of pocket for an initial appointment. I wasn't even told ahead of time that the additional tests would cost me $40 out of pocket. Further the nurse kept insisting that she shave my chest for the EKG, I could tell she was under some kind of pressure to ensure the EKG be done. - Dr. Fletcher completely disregarded any of my previous medical records from the Army, even though it was a clear diagnosis of a torn PCL. - Dr. Fletcher didn't seem to really care about my concerns and went against what I had requested. I needed a doctors note for light duty because of my knee pain, and wanted a referral to an orthopedic specialist. He insisted I see him after a useless x-ray that would have revealed nothing as my injury is a torn PCL/cartilage damage. - Though I didn't express terrible knee pain, or request pain medication, he prescribed me prescription strength pain medication. - Terrible experience, waste of time and money. I was so upset I almost walked out mid appointment. I found a much better doctor that actually cares about my concerns.
need to improve on how he does business. I received a bill that was 120 days overdue. when I contact doctors office to get information about the bill. I was informed that they change building companies and the previous company was not doing their job. I informed the secretary that I never received a bill for a call. To clear up the issue. They were about to ruin my credit for an amount that under fast 25 dollars .
Unprofessional! I am very dissatisfied with my care that I received from him. He milks the insurance companies and the patients for every dollar. I have heard him multiple times yelling at his staff (that was great by the way) saying he wants his insurance checks and why the patients aren't paying and so on. There is a time and place for everything, keep that stuff in private! I have also noticed that he leaves the door open when speaking to the patient. Has he heard about HIPAA compliance at all? When I come to see I should feel confident that my conditions are kept private, not said aloud with the door open for a waiting room full of bored waiting patients to hear!
I was appointed to Dr. Fletcher through Tricare and at first, I was kind of leary to see a civilian Dr. I would have to say that he has met all of my expectations. I was reading the post that was left for him, and in my perspective, I can see how people think that he talks down to people, but I think that is just his personality and not intentional. I have been seeing him for a while now, and I have had a terrific experience. I have having issues with Tripler with Ob/gyn and because he doesn't specialize in this field, he got me an appt. with Tripler the next day with the help if his staff. The reason why he asked you if you have seen a gynocologist isn't to violate you, is because you probably where showing underlying symptoms that was related to another cause. I had the same issue back in 2004 where I had an IUD and no doctors could understand the massive headaches and after 2 weeks, I had broke out into a 103.2 fever, and they thought it could be in anuresim. It turns out that teh IUD had gotten infected and had to remove it immediately. So, there was a reason why Dr. ask you these questions. Now, on another note. I'm tired of everytime I got into the E.R. or at Tripler they keep asking me if I'm pregnantn after I had stated that I was.
