I worked with Dean for about a month for lower back pain. He was very helpful in my recovery and provided me with exercises to perform to help me prevent further injury over the long term. I would definitely recommend him.

I broke my back in January 2014. I couldn't stand, walk, sit or drive. I was literally crawling in pain. I didn't know what had really happened to my back and ended up going to the ER - but they didn't tell me very much about why I was in so much pain, and then they only gave me a bunch of painkillers and sent me home. I found Turning Point Chiropractic online and was afraid to try it without any other reference but I am so grateful that I went in. First of all their office is at a great location & Caitlyn (the receptionist) made it so easy for me to use my insurance for payment. There was no hassle or confusion. Caitlyn & Dr. Dean are the kindest people to work with. THEN when I went in to see Dr. Dean he fully explained how I had injured myself (I fell asleep during a long plane ride and shifted my sacrum out of place). Knowing what was going on with my body and how I would be able to fix it was such a relief!! And instead of having to continue taking nasty painkillers, I knew I had a way out of pain and into health again. Dr. Dean created a treatment program for me which included exercises I would do on my own. The best part was that he is so good at explaining chiropractic care and how to achieve the alignment I needed to return to healthy functioning. The next best part was that it is affordable for me. I had to take a couple weeks off of work (I work in an office, which can be painful when having lower back problems). But now I'm back, I know how to take care of my back so I don't hurt myself again and I continue to see Dr. Dean so that I can fully recover and never have this problem again. It was an immobilizing and terrifying experience but thank god I found Turning Point because they really helped me out... they turned it all around ;)

I just love these guys! I always had back and neck pain, Since starting my adjustments my back is pain free! They've even started working on my ankle! I completely recommend turning point!

What can I say, Dr. Dean saved my skin! I was out of options facing having to go back to the mainland for treatment on my back, I had tickets bought and thought I'd try Dr. Dean as a last ditch effort. I was not looking for to another round of surgeries, pain management, and all the medications and problems that come with that course of action. To be honest I didn't think that he would be able to do much for me, I had a bulging discs in my C4, L4, L5, and S1. I have a chronic fracture in my L5 as well, and a new fracture in my L4. All this is exasperated by Arthritic Autoimmune Symptoms. Immediately with the first treatment there was a substantial release of pain, and range of motion. Through 3 weeks of treatment I am not only completely out of the woods on having to go back to the mainland for surgery, but I am back on the bike putting in the miles, as well as returning to functionality with my daily regiment. I would recommend Dr. Dean to anyone.

I had terrible Sciatica pain for four years in college while playing soccer. The athletic trainers tried a lot of different things to help relieve the pain but nothing worked. They resorted to stretching my hamstrings as treatment. Needless to say this did not work and the pain continued. Finally, after six years of this annoying and agonizing pain, I went to see Dr. Dean at Turning Point Chiropratic. I couldn't believe the results just after one appointment. I had full mobility and was able to do everything pain free. I continued to go regularly for a couple weeks to get my body in correct alignment. I can now get back to surfing and playing soccer, pain free.
