I have been going to Dr. Hlas and his wife for over a decade and have had the best experience and preventative care since I moved to Iowa. Their staff cordially reminds me of my regular dental appointments with a phone call and I am always greeted with a smile from the front office. I have had my teeth cleaned by several of their licensed dental hygentists who are efficient, courteous and friendly. Dr. Hlas is a wonderful dentist who cares for all of his patients and I would recommend his service and dental health care.

I've been to this clinic a number of times...never again! I went in for a basic annual checkup. Ended up being told I had a cavity (even though I had no tooth pain what-so-ever). Got it taken care of and got a filling. Next thing I know, my tooth was killing me! I told them what was going on, and was told it "sounded" like I needed a root canal! So, against what I consider my best judgement, I trusted them and went ahead and had the procedure done and got the filling put back in. Now the filling is caving in and my tooth has started to hurt, yet again!! They said I need to get a crown on (which I understand is common after a root canal), but then when I told them my tooth is hurting again and has been since before they did the root canal, they just make up some story about how "well it must have been cracked before the root canal then", when I wasn't experiencing any pain!!! They give me the distict feeling that I went through ALL of this JUST so they could rake in more money on expensive procedure after expensive procedure! Absolutely 100% UNTRUSTWORTHY!! Stay away if you value your teeth/money!
