Dental Group of Carbondale
Reviews
My family recently switched to the Dental Group of Carbondale. As a mother of two small boys and someone who has high anxiety about seeing the dentist, finding a caring team was very important to me. We definately found that team in the Dental Group of Carbondale. The dental hygienist and dentist were very kind and patient with my children. My five year old son had a great experience and has asked to go back to see the dentist! During my cleaning, my hygienist was efficient and seemed very knowledgable. In a later visit, I had two teeth filled. My fillings were definately the least stressful and some of the best fillings I have had. During both visits (for my cleaning and fillings) I did not wait long in the waiting room and they got right down to business. I have since called with questions about my son's dental health. The team answered my questions quickly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I highly recommend these guys!
I visited the Dental Group of Carbondale, because they were on my insurance plan. Total mistake! The service was terrible! Appointments were canceled without notification, just showing up to find I would have to come back another time. Not to mention the substandard dental care received. I have since seen another dentist, to correct the damage they did to my teeth. Don't trust your smile with this hack dentist. I hope everyone avoids this facility. I would not wish this on my worst enemy!
Worst Dentist Experience Ever! I have two experiences with this practice and both were bad. I arrived 5 minutes late to my first appointment with this group and was turned away and told to call back to re-schedule. That was enough for me, but my daughter had an appointment today. She had previously been seen by the dentist, so I took her. They briefly cleaned her teeth, had the dentist to come in...he said the same cavity is there that was there last time they looked and that I should set up a seperate appointment to have it filled. What? I said she is already in the chair, why not now? I was told that we didn't schedule the cavity filling when we set up the appointment to see the dentist. She then called me 'rude' and said that she didn't have to seal my daughter's teeth if she didn't want to. We left. I have never been treated this way at a dentist's office. If you like to be treated like a piece of crap and spend twice as much time at the dentist's office, if you like cold, uncaring, unfriendly people, then this is your place. I wouldn't go back there if they were the only dentist's office in 500 miles.
