Terrible customer service. I order a cake on 10/15/2014 and it was supposed to be ready tomorrow 10/18/2014 at 3pm. I received a call stating that the person who took my order was not "a cake decorator" and therefore the information he gave was incorrect. "The cake decorator" stated the cake would be $58 instead of the $48 I was quoted two days prior and that she needed a $29 deposit before the cake could be made. I asked why someone who wasn't qualified was allowed to take orders and misquote prices. She became very unprofessional and stated the $29 needed to be paid before anything else could be done. I requested that she cancelled the order. Perhaps Walmart needs to teach their employees that the customer's money is for sale, not the product. I will never purchase anything from bakery again!
I live nearby and use Walmart often. Prescriptions, if I wait, are usually filled in about 30-45 minutes. They always check to make sure they have the script in stock. Considering how busy their pharmacy is, it is amazing they can get scripts ready as fast as they do. Kudos to the pharmacy staff. I don't have health insurance and the cost of scripts is very reasonable. General shopping experiences have been good. Sometimes the aisles can get cramped with goods but they have a great selection. My only critique would be that healthcare and grocery are located far apart. So if I'm doing grocery shopping, I have to walk practically all the way over to the other side of the store for items like shampoo, bar soap, shaving cream, razors, or otc meds. I love the great deals I get there like $5 movies. I get my hair cut there and use their money center often to cash paychecks if the banks are closed. Having an in-store MacDonalds is another bonus. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Thank you Walmart for providing jobs in our city.
Customer service is sad to say the least.. pharmacy takes hours to fill a script and won't answer their phone.. most clustered walmart and noone seems to know what they are doing. By far worst walmart I've been too
Good vibe.
While on a trip to Bloomington, my wife and I stopped here. We wanted to pick up a couple bottles of wine to take as dinner/housewarming gifts. When we went to check out I had my ID, my wife did not. Our ages are 24 and 27 respectively. I am okay with the checker making minimum wage wanting to see both IDs. If this is were the story ended I probably would not have written this review, but instead the checker told us that drinking alcohol was a sin and that we were not old enough to make good decisions. We promptly left approximately $150 worth of merchandise on the register and walked out.
