Before I met Dr. Russell, I had been struggling with frequent headaches for years. The medical doctors that I saw before him simply told me to relax... definitely easier said than done! For years, I have been struggling with back and neck pain, but it wasn't until the summer of 2013 that I was brought to the point where I couldn't function normally. In tears, I sought help from a physical therapist who prescribed a TENS unit. While it alleviated the immediate suffering, it did not help the root cause and consequently, it continued to resurface. By chance, I attended a Nucor Safety Fair with my son and on impulse stepped on the alignment scales. Based on the results, I made an appointment for x-rays. Since then, Dr. Russell has used a variety of therapies on my back and we are beginning to see improvement! I thought pain would be a part of my life forever and now, with my progressive plan that is aimed toward maintenance, I have hope of a pain free future.
