Low prices and variety are it. Check out lines are ridiculously long and not enough open in the afternoon. Self checkout is a joke and faults out for every little hiccup.

WalMart doesn't have enough employees to take care of their customers. Long check out lines, long customer service lines, you cant find employees in various departments. I asked an employee about this and she said that they have been cutting back on staff so that one person has to handle multiple departments. You'd think a store that has astronomical sales would be able to keep enough employees to take care of their customers. I used to buy all groceries from WalMart, but I will now start going to Meijer. They are much better at taking care of their customers.

this store is dirty. the people that work here stand in the isles on their phones. customer service is terrible. there needs to be STANDARDS. unacceptable. will not be back. gladly spend the extra dollar to shop in a clean and friendly enviornment.

Went to the bakery for a cake on 1/17/13, and waited for 20 minutes. No-one working the counter. Lady in Deli said someone we be there at 6pm, which was another 30 minutes. By 6:10pm, still no-one was there. I called the store and the girl who answered didn't know what to do. She said, "Well I guess I can call page management." Ten minutes later a worker shows up TICKED, and put her hat and gloves on and turned her back to us. I repeatedly said, "Excuse me," and she have us a dirty look and walked away. I said, "Forget it," put the cake back and left. As I was checking out (6:45pm) I heard the front page management to bakery. A Little late, honey! Went back on 1/18/13 to get the cake at 4:00pm. Again, nobody was there. I waited 15 minutes this time, and asked the deli person. They said someone was on there way. This time a man shows up and asked the other lady who had been waiting if she needed to place a cake order. He took her order, looked right at me standing there with cake in hand, and walked down to the deli and began talking to an employee on the customer side of the counter about their night before. After waiting another 15 minutes I left. I went 3 minutes down the road to Meijer. I not only received excellent and immediate service, but I got a much nicer looking cake for the same price. I also finished the rest of my shopping there, and found their store is much nicer, cleaner, and has cheaper prices than Walmart on many things. I tried to call the Apple Glen management this morning at 10:00 am to complain about the service and the phone continued to ring until it disconnected itself. No answer. Nice customer service Walmart. Really? I used to do all of my grocery and household shopping at Walmart. I will never go back. From now on, I am a Meijer shopper.
