My daughter got her first pair of glasses through Dr travel.they made this a horrible experience all the way around. When it came to picking up her glasses, there were problems.within four months her glasses broke.Went to get frame replacements and they didn't fit her lenses.so they asked for her lenses so they could send them to be fixed.then after another three weeks she still does not have her glasses.they lost them! I'm still waiting..
I have only had my glasses for less than 6 months. They are falling apart and my sunglasses are broken at the hinges. Before that, I had to wait over 4weeks for them. The customer service is bad.
Everything went like clockwork til my glasses needed adjustment. I went in on a Sunday afternoon, grey haired woman sorting glasses just looked at the frames & said"here's the problem-they're crooked"-excuse me, after at least 3 broken noses & plastic surgery, of COURSE my NOSE is a little crooked-that's why the sidepieces had been originally adjusted somewhat crooked! She didn't pay the least attention-she gave the frames a wrench & claimed they were fixed, tho the lazy overweight @#$! didn't even bother to see what they looked like ON MY FACE! That's 1 woman who sure doesn't need to be working with the public! Its back to WalMart the next time I need new glasses!!!!!!! I hope someone in the Tavel family reads this!
Please, get your eye care elsewhere. I came for my appointment today (a Saturday)and was told that they didn't have any of my information and hadn't verified my insurance and wouldn't be seeing me today. Their explanation was, "Well, you didn't give us your information and now our servers are down." I told them that when I made the appointment 2 weeks earlier, I sat on the phone for 20 minutes while the guy who answered the call slowly took down my name, address, phone number, date of birth, name of vision insurance and social security number (which I hated to give over the phone). Their reply was, "Well, we don't have it and if we did, then someone should have verified it yesterday and they didn't and now we have no computers." They offered to see if the manager would let me make another appointment (What?!?!?), but I told them that if this is my experience as a new patient, I would be going elsewhere. Medicine is a business and they don't deserve mine.
They customer service is very bad. I've worked customer service for 15 yrs and I know how you should be treated I was on hold.for.25mins and when I called back to let them know I was not rude when I said it either the lady Megan said ok how can I help you! Really no apology nothing will not do business with them anymore!
