It had been a while since I have been at this hospital,..and man what a change! They have renewed, and revamped! Love it!
I spent my fourth year of medical school training in this facility. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to train with the highly skilled staff. Such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this hospital to others in pursuit of their medical education as well as those in need of medical care.
This hospital should be put under full investigation by the CIA, FBI, and all other agencies that work to get rid of crooked bithes. I was threatened by security. I was brought to a holding area where a ochsner's security guard threatened to break my ankle if I tried to leave. I then was given a lecture from a doctor or nurse Richard about how he was involved with local mafia and that my recent views on political issues would lead to my demise in the community. The Weiser guard did not stand up and speak for me. She just sat there and let it happen. When I asked her if she heard the conversation from four feet away, she lied to my face. Then I was given a form to either be committed by a doctor or sign myself in for the nut house on the fifth floor. Mind you, I never once said anything about suicide or anything when I was picked up at my house by HPD officers and brought to the hospital. I dont recall the names of the officer's except my buddy Lodrigue. I always thought his last name was Fitch though. They did conduct themselves in a professional manner. The officers brought me their and we spoke of our old war days. I spoke of my undercover work and he spoke about Mardi Gras madness lol. I was very upset to find out afterwards that the two officer's made fun of a religious display that I had at my house. So, after being forced to admit myself to the hospital,I asked the man for a form to do a 72 hour release and I was lied to and told that there wasnt a form to fill out. I was brought up to the crazy shack by a professional ochsner guard and a polite nurse. Let me also make note that every nurse in that hospital was "on point" 5 star treatment. The doctor's had their heads up their asses and played mind games with people. The main psychological nurse was a bit rough around the edges but I learned to love him. The night staff were polite but a few on the dishonest side. They held me for the 72 hours and I thought I would be released and then told I needed to fill out a 72 hour form. " Hey wait a minute" "Didnt I ask the young fucktard in the ER for this paper three days ago?!" " O, well comply or we will get you committed to the hospital for 15 days" Pen is mightier than the Sword hoe... If I had the power I would shut it down, keep the nurses especially Mrs Ronnie , Head nurse and start from scratch. All in all I felt robbed of my time and disappointed in our town.
This hospital saved my life, I was unemployed, homeless and in a new city. I succumbed to a kidney stone in my one and only kidney. (Never knew I only had one). Anyway, Being a long way from home (Calif) the staff and doctors treated me with real southern hospitality. The employees there allowed me to continue living a fantastic life. Thanks to you all, I have been able to see my two kids grow and am thankful everyday to each and every one of you at Charbert hospital. May god bless each of you and give you everlasting happiness like you all have given me.
I think some people need to see the bigger picture. I work at chabert and we employees get little pay forthe hard long hours we put in. We deserve a break everyone else. Those "doctors and nurses" outside may not have worked in the ER to begin with and if they did I'm glad they got a moment to get outside for fresh air! These people are NOT robots people!
