Bay West Family Dental
Reviews
I rate this office a 5, and its because of many factors. My family & I have been patients at Baywest for 13 yrs. The office is very nice, a nice large flatscreen, and comfortable seats, in the waiting room....even though we never sit long enough to really watch the tv, our wait is always no more than 10 mins. The staff is very nice, and have been there for as long as Ive been going there, the hygienists are great, and always do a great job, not rushing through, the dental asst is very nice, and very knowledgeable, and Dr Grewal is fantastic, hes caring, asks questions, and gives his patients his time, and while drilling, stops when I need him to, and even gave me the suction to use as needed. The person that gave this office a 2 star is very questionable, I have been sending my children there, since they were like 3 yrs old, and this office is very family oriented, and extra caring when it comes to children. I even now have my mother going there, because her dentist, that she was going to for over 25 yrs, would not cut her a break when GM retirees lost their dental insurance, my mother is deaf and very happy with Baywest, she trusts Dr Grewal as much as we always have. I highly recommend this office for families, and especially anyone that has had a bad experiences elsewhere. Sharon N. Chesterfield
I moved into the area just over a year ago. I had been with my last dental office for around 5 years, which I thought was quite good. For convenience, my family and I started going to Bay West, as it is within a few miles from home. The front desk staff did their job, despite their flat expressions on their faces. The hygienist I had was mildly personable. Then, the doctor seemed fine until he started drilling on my teeth. I told him I was in pain and felt everything. He merely told me "Well, you shouldn't be feeling this" coldly and told me to "hang on" as he continued working. He didn't give me another shot of anesthesia and when he was done, he said "Okay, we're finished" and walked out of the room. No "goodbye" or "have a nice day", not even "take a hike". I guarantee you, I was never combatant, unruly or unpleasant. I never raised my voice. Still, the whole experience left me very disappointed. I went back to my old dental office, even though I have to travel 45 miles, round trip.
