I just can't Compliment DR KAKARIS AND VAL RIKA HER OFFICE MANAGER! As Kakaris Family Dentistry been my Dentist for YEARS AND YEARS! Nobody likes dental visits, but the way the staff took such sincere and thoughtful care of me lowered my anxiety level and made me feel like an old friend. My cleanings were performed by either Stephanie or Tara. Both ladies were very warm, smiley and personable. Cleanings were thorough, but not rough and didn't take forever. Kudos! My dental work was performed by Dr. Arestea Kakaris and her assistant. I consider them the Dream Team because they perform together like a well-choreographed ballet. Dr. Kakaris always always always checked to see how I was doing, feeling...feeling any pain, anxiety...if I needed a break. She would tell me exactly what she was going to do and how long it would take so I had an idea of what to expect. No surprises. She insisted I come back right away if things didn't feel "right" after a procedure as she didn't want me to feel as if I had to live with or adjust to discomfort. And if any Financial Questions you have, you call her Office Manager Val Rika. Gosh she is always on top of things and makes sure she meets and exceeds your expectations with a BIG SMILE on her face! Presents Dr Kakaris VERY WELL! She went the extra mile to make me comfortable. Dr Kakaris is skillful and has a terrific bed-side manner. This was important to me finding a dentist as often procedures can be nerve-wracking. Dr. Kakaris's assistant, has a very professional, non-obtrusive and graceful way of assisting Dr. Kakaris. His timing, working with and around Dr. Kakaris, is seamless. I particularly liked that her Dental Assistants knew when I needed more suction to get all that weird stuff out. I know, sounds silly, but it's so appreciated when you're captive in the situation and you can't get up and gargle the gross stuff out. Her Staff have a positive presence as well. My Mother saw Dr. "Shin" and also had nothing but good things to say about him. Great job, everyone! Sincere thanks to you KAKARIS FAMILY DENTISTRY.
I am terrified of the dentist, and I finally went to see Dr. Kakaris on referral from some friends and family who have been patient of Dr Kakaris for years & years. I haven't been to the dentist in about 5 years or so, and finally dragged myself in because I had such a bad cavity.HONESTLY, Dr Kakaris is the first Dr who hasn't asked me if I wanted my teeth whitened or tried to refill all my existing fillings with the white stuff. She is the first dentist who have helped me with my TMJ and among other jaw problems, she is really someone who can actually help me with my jaw and headache problem. I've been to her office a lot now and while kids have been in the office,She is so nice to them and describes fun stuff about teeth. I wish my childhood dentist had been so cool! Everyone at Kakaris Family Dentistry is totally nice and super excellent. Also by the way i do come from Windsor Canada to see Dr Kakaris, that tells you something!I would definitely RECOMMEND Dr Kakaris and Kakaris Family Dentistry to my friends and family. On a Saturday afternoon I left work early because my tooth hurt so bad, by the time I got home it was past noon and I was in tears it was so painful. I called every dentist in the area to find ANYONE to help me!!! Finally I called 1800Dentist and had to drive almost an hour to their office. With them being an emergency dentist yes you had to pay...but the other guy says cash and that is NOT true. Any Urgent Care is going to make you pay up front, they can't run your insurance on a weekend or when the insurance company is closed...so how would they know if you actually had VALID insurance!!! Can I just tell you that Dr. Kakaris is the most gental and knowledgable dentist I have ever been to, and if my insurance covered their office I would go there regularly even tho it's so far away!!! THANK YOU GUYS FOR BEING SO FABULOUS!!! If you are truely in pain or just searching for a great dentist, THIS IS YOUR OFFICE!!!
She's awesome
My wife broke a tooth on Saturday morning. She did her best to live with it, but I woke up at 3 am Sunday morning to her crying really hard. It was badly infected. Our friends rushed her to the ER, where they prescribed her some antibiotics and some pain medicine, but she couldn't shut her jaw all the way, and definitely couldn't eat. I called every dentist I could and finally found this dentist, amazed that they were open on a Sunday. I rushed her over there, after calling off of work. We were greeted by a man, who asked if we had cash. I replied that I didn't, that we had blue cross and this would be covered. He said that without money for the exam and money for the extraction, we would have to leave. We were turned away with my wife in excruciating pain and unable to eat because they wanted their cash. We will never go back, she'll have to see our regular dentist on Tuesday (holiday weekend).
