CUB Foods

Cubs are Cubs, I suppose, and as a shopping option I dislike the lot o them because they're much, much too big, it's nearly impossible to find anyone to help when you can't ind something, and they're too expensive unless you play this idiotic American coupon game, which I can't be bothered to do. For me, though, the main problem is just the size. I feel as if I need a GPS to get around inside! Regardless of how few items I''m shopping for, it always takes me at least a half hour simply because I have to hunt around this vast rabbit warren of shelves and aisles in order to find what I'm after. And even if you think you know where something is located, it oftentimes happens that they've decided to move it, so you have to hunt some more. Please! (I guess that's why I shop at Aldis, one of the coops, or at a farmer's market 90% of the time.)
I only went here because it was closest to my house, but otherwize shopped at crystal store. I DO NOT FEEL comfortable shopping at a store where they have to have Police present 24/7.
Look out for unsanitary kid-level bulk bins. Other than that, this place is the radness: a full-service supermarket in an underserved neighborhood.
So so
Rudest management we've ever met. They seemed more interested is provoking an arguement instead of providing good customer service when a problem arised. They seemed to want to protect their own employees instead of acknowledging a mistake or even trying to make an issue go away in a positive way. They actually seem to want to make things worse when there are legitament concerns. We can't trust the employees and therefore can't trust the quality of food in their store which isn't as clean as we believe it should be. Save some time and money, go to Aldi which in many cases is less expensive and better quality. As far as good meats, find a good butcher.
