My experience with the staff and the doctor of this clinic has been totally disgusting. I paid out-of-pocket for a procedure, on my 13 year old daughter, that I was told, would not be covered. I was surprised to find that my insurance had been billed and I received an invoice for a co-pay. On questioning, I was told that the bill was for a "question" that I had put forth to the doctors assistant, which was not related to the procedure. When I argued that this was just a casual question that did not need any medical diagnosis or attention, the office manager became extremely hostile and started to blame me for making her staff stay after hours and having to send the doctor back a second time to see my daughter. This was not true, as during the initial procedure, the doctor rushed through the procedure causing pain and discomfort to the patient while threatening to leave, if the patient did not hold still. To top it off, the procedure was left incomplete and when this was pointed out, the doctor asked the assistant to finish the job. This, alongwith the casual question asked apparently constituted a "second visit" and the extra charge. I have never encountered such rudeness from any medical personnel ever before. The office manager wildly threw accusations for justifying the bill. I have since reported this clinic to the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. My advice to patients, looking for a dermatologist would be to "go somewhere else" before they ask you do so. These people appear to be more interested in making money than to ethically treat patients.
