I have been a patient of Dr. Jones for at least 12 years. He has always been very detailed with me on any illness I may have at the time. He has been very through with taking care of my Son and Daughter. His staff are excellent at their positions and they keep the medical clinic flowing. The nurses are very knowledgeable and very personal. This clinic should be the model of what a Doctor's office should represent. Thank you Dr. Jones for your excellent service to our town. A Doctor is only as Great because he surrounds himself with Great Employees.
Only been once but I liked this clinic. I went first thing in the morning . I was out the door 45 mins after walking in. Front desk girl could have been a little nicer but like the nurses and Dr. Jones. He did, in fact, shake my hand and called in prescriptions for things like allergy and heart burn meds that are available OVC now just in case they'd be cheaper that way. Nice guy.
Dr. Jones is very personable and has always been very nice to myself, my wife and our son. Sometimes we have to wait an extra 30 mins to see him but the wait is worth it. Our son came down with RSV when he was 2 months old and Dr. Jones was very quick in recognizing the illness. He referred us to the Pediatric dept at North MS for more treatment. Would highly recommend Dr. Jones for a good family doctor.
I had made an appointment for my kindergardener to get his immunizations for first thing in the morning (8:30). When got there 10 minutes early and were one of two people in the waiting room. After doing the necessary paper work we proceeded to wait to see the doctor while pts who came in after us were seen. I politely asked if it was almost our turn (as iI had my 2-yr-old with me as well) and the receptionist said there were still two more pts ahead of us. We had been waiting 50 minutes by then. Every time I need to see a doctor (for earache or stitches) there have been no appts available. I called to get my sons medical records and at very least his immunization records. I still hadn't heard back from them 8 days later so I called and asked for just his immunization record, which they said they did not have (and could have found that out by looking a week ago), which could not have been true as I handed them his full medical record and immunization history when we moved here last June. I don't know if the doctors and this incompetent but the nursing staff and reception area definitely gets a thumbs down!
