Prenard R Mickens, DDS
Reviews
After having a root canal done with Dr. Mickens, I now have an uncontrollable "twitch"in my chin, due to the numbing procedure he did. ALSO, within ten days after the procedure, the material he filled my tooth with disintegrated, leaving me with a hollow tooth and exposing all of the "sticks" they use to correct the problem. My dentist office that does the routine dental work even said a root canal procedure can go without a crown up to three months. I assume they were thinking had it been done correctly. I never even chewed on the side where the procedure was performed afterwords . Still have not (since Nov. 25, 2014) I have had SEVERAL root canals before , and never ever had these problems I encountered with this visit; this is the first time, and last, getting treatment from this witch doctor. I now know why he made the statement "Ï usually don't like to to do this unless the person is in so much pain that they are actually crying" . Well I did cry when he shot the numbing medicine into my mouth. Guess when he saw me cry, physically shake, and become out of breath it was okay to give me a root canal then. CHOOSE ANOTHER ONE, I URGE YOU! I am now maimed for life.
Excellent care and friendly staff. I highly recommend Dr. Mickens to all my friends.
I had two root canals at his office. He is very smart and very good at his job. I trust him.
As Carly Simon once said, "Nobody does it better." Dr. Mickens and staff are THE EXPERTS, and the only place to go in the Triad for a root canal. I've had two and both were a breeze, relatively speaking. For all the jokes about root canals, the good Doc made sure I was comfortable and his chair-side manner is second to none. I wish Dr. Mickens were a general dentist.
Great staff. Very senstive and caring.
