Walmart Supercenter

This is my local Walmart and it is in need of improvement in many categories. Whoever does the ordering for the grocery section does not know how to keep items in stock. It is a 50/50 chance that they will have what I came to buy and recently it is more on the side that they won't have it and it seems to be getting worse. I leave without many of the items that I went for and have to go to Food Lion to get them. There are some items that have been out of stock for months and instead of ordering the items, they fill the space up with small amounts of the same item to give the appearance it is full. Because of this, the variety is small. The pet section is the same way with the pet food. They have not had the brand of food that I have always bought from there for my pet in almost 6 months. I have bought this from there for over 3yrs and it was always in stock but it seems that they have had some management changes and things have gone down hill since then. The store is always hot and always in short supply of cashiers. Many of the cashiers don't even say hello or thank you when I'm done checking out. As a former manager in retail myself, this is very poor customer service. I've always enjoyed shopping at Walmart but this one is in need of an overhaul in how to order stock and in training their employees on how to treat a customer who is giving their money to the store and helping them keep a paycheck coming in. I will say that the pharmacy is good.
Take the perfect layout and then do the opposite- this is Wal Mart. You won't be able to find anything here, if you can get beyond how the corporation acts and teats its workers. . .
Everything you may need all rolled up in one big store. Had a problem on a construction site and several employees got completely covered in mud. Took them to Walmart and within 20 minutes walked out with 4 guys having new shoes, socks, and pants, for under $200. Not crowded at all and the employees were very helpful. This Walmart is well managed and just the right place to find anything you may need.
The most atrocious store I have ever shopped in!!!! The employees aren't friendly or courteous at all. They never offer help and if you ask for help. They seem to get an attitude and never know anything. Store is too dark and gloomy. No one seems to have any professionalism. I really to do not like shopping at this store at all!!! Every time I go to a Walmart, my heart races to get the HELL OUT OF THERE. Stuff is thrown on the shelves AND on the floor. Children running around crying and screaming everywhere, because their parents use their abusive tone to do it. When I tried to get some milk YESTERDAY I mean YESTERDAY, to what I witness is APPALLING. They were all OUT OF IT. Nobody to stock it and nobody in sight to help. The food section isn't much better EITHER. EMPTY SHELES EVERYWHERE AND I MEAN EVERYWHERE.EX. Produce section, ( flies/Gnats everywhere ) Meat Section (CRAP) Floors (HOT MESS) AND MORE. Also, the employees HERE, there either MIA OR DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING NOR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. There NONCHALANT.If you ask where something is, all you get is ( I DON'T KNOW ATTITUDE, GET OUT OF MY FACE ATTITUDE, CALL THE COPS ATTITUDE!!! GET EM INVOLVED!!! YOU'RE O.Y.O.!!!! Lastly, Theres never enough cash registers open. When you go to one, their not happy to see you. THEY JUST TELL YOU HOW MUCH THAT'S ALL!!!! It will be approximately 2 nor 3 registers open, with 15-20 people in line out of about 24 of them. NO HAVE A NICE DAY OR HOW MAY I HELP YOU. NONE OF THAT. Its WHAT DO YOU WANT OR WE AIN'T GOT IT ATTITUDE. I won't shop at this store EVER AGAIN, NOR I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. SAVE YOUR MONEY, COMPARE PRICES, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE.If you want SLOPPY JOES, SHADY PEOPLE, HALF WORKING SHOPPING CARTS, DISORGANIZED POLLUTION, CRYING CHILDREN, EMPLOYEES/CUSTOMERS ATTITUDES, GHETTO PARKING LOT, THEN YOU HIT THE JACKPOT. Otherwise STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS TRAVESTY OF A STORE POR FAVOR!!!
It is rather odd to see that out of state people have better experiences at this Walmart than the people that live right next door. Nevertheless, those comments that they make are exactly what my experience has been - poor customer service, long lines at the busiest of times with one or two registers open at the front, misinformation from the clerks and and sub class treatment. I am taking my business elsewhere - Walmart earns their degree in being less than a mediocre brand store.
