Family Urgent Care West Maple
Reviews
If it was possible to give this place a zero I would. After not being able to spend Christmas with my family due to a horrible cough, shortness of breath, and wheezing I decided to go to this urgent care since it was close to my house. After waiting over an hour which is normal for any urgent care I got called back to see the doctor. The doctor came in and just read off the paper my symptoms and said "seems like you got what everyone else has" and just wrote me a prescription. I even suggested an xray and he said it wasnt worth it. This week my breathing became shorter and very difficult. I was wheezing constantly. I deiced to see a different doctor. Today I was diagnosed with pneumonia. If that doctor would have taken maybe five more extra minutes I could already be feeling better. But because he decided to be lazy I had to spend more money on another visit and on a prescription. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!
The flu nailed me over night and this place is close to my house, and even though I read some negative reviews, I must say I was very impressed. The lady working the front desk was extremely polite and nice. Nurse taking me to the exam room was nice and the Doc (Miller) was extremely professional, asked questions and was very informative. I was in and out of there in an hour and there were a couple people ahead of me. I would highly recommend this place
After reading the sad reviews from this clinic, I decided to call the office first to get a feel of how I would be treated. The lady on the phone was not to my surprise unhelpful and not very nice. I went to Urgent Care at RockBrook and was extremely happy with the care that they gave me there!! I was really sick and they helped me get back on my feet! I am so glad that I drove the extra distance to get this professional care and the staff was very kind to me!
Very unprofessional front desk secretary. Unprofessional doctor. The front desk girls have continuously talked loudly about personal issues/men each time I've been here. I had to continue returning to this clinic for an infection. I would have MUCH rather changed locations for a better staff.
I went in on a Sunday evening at 5:30 pm with a rash on my hands, forearm, and feet. I also had about 3 little sores around my nose. The doctor seemed clueless. After looking in my nose and mouth, she mentioned that she's never seen anything like it and told me to go to the ER. I didn't because I didn't feel that this was serious enough to spend $500 on, and Monday was right around the corner. I did some internet surfing and found that it seemed very similar to Hand, foot, and mouth, but wanted to be certain, so I went to my GP on Monday morning. Instantly, he diagnosed me with the Hand, Foot, and Mouth virus. He said everything about my symptoms led him the that diagnosi. Because it's a virus, no antibiotics will help- I just had to ride it out. I felt like the doctor at this Urgent Care wanted to simply clear people out of the building. I'm very disappointed that she could not diagnose something as simple as HFAM.
