After being referred to Dr. Evans, (we brought his CT scan with us), he examined my husband who was having terrible pains in his side. We thought gall bladder because it became worse when he ate. He ordered a sonogram and another test, and he'd see him back in a week. The next day he went to the ER because he was in such pain. He was in the hospital for 2 days, had the tests, was sent home. We went to see him again at the scheduled apt. He kept insisting my husband had shingles! ( even though he had no blisters or marks on his skin) He then said that he should see a gastroenterologist. Closest appt was 4 weeks away. I asked....what do I do for him when he is in such pain in the mean time? He said take tylenol! Seriously??? We went back to out primary who sent us for a second opinion. The new surgeon couldn't believe he didn't take out his gall bladder! Said it was a classic case. The CT scan by the way, showed a large amount of stones. The new surgeon did the surgery, it's been 4 days now and he is in less pain now than before the surgery. Dr Evans is very nice but very incompetent. Why would he take someone"s pain so lightly? Why would he have him come back in a week when he couldn't stand the pain? Why would he pass him off to someone else and not give a damn. So if you have pain, don't expect him to help you! Because he won't. He'll just let you suffer. Pass the buck and tell you to take some tylenol.Pffftttt.
