I've been going here for many years and watched the business gradually go downhill as some of their attitudes seem to have become carefree toward their customers. Several years ago, I got my most recent pair of glasses here. After choosing the pair I wanted, the lady told me she didn't like the frames and proceeded to pick out a different pair for me. Despite my telling her that I preferred the pair that I picked out, she insisted on the pair she chose. It didn't appear to be up for discussion. I didn't deem it being worth an argument since I mostly wear contacts and this pair was for emergencies only. I also told her the glasses were too tight on me, but she insisted they'd stretch over time. But after wearing them for a full day after Vision City caused me to run out of contacts, the tight frames caused significant bruising over the bridge of my nose. I ended up wearing no corrective lenses as a result. Last December, they changed my contact brand without telling me. The contacts started ripping and irritating my eyes. I exhausted my 3 month supply in just under 2 months (by mid February). As such, since I was getting low, I called for a refill. I've always called them for refills in the past and had no problems. Business must be slow... With no advance notice, they told me I'd have to make an appointment for a routine eye exam and they would not order new contacts for me in the meantime. They would not even allow me to buy one pair until the date of my eye exam. They scheduled an appointment for two weeks later. The actual visit was very uninformative and rushed. I couldn't get any answers out of the doctor. He originally told me my vision got worse since my last visit (last time he said it was 20/200). After my recent visit, he walked away without telling me any part of my results. He happened to come back out as I was selecting my new glasses and I asked him what my vision is. He said, "I don't know, maybe 20/60, 20/70," and he walked away again. Since 20/60 is better than 20/200, I figured my vision either has improved or he was wrong about my eyesight (either past or present). And a guestimated eyesight ("maybe 20/60, 20/70") doesn't sound too reassuring from a doctor whose primary job is giving eye exams. I also overheard the doctor lecturing one of his desk clerks for taking too long speaking with a customer. He reminded her that they make more money if they see 3 customers in an hour rather than 1 customer in an hour. This clearly shows his primary concern is money...not his customers. By the middle of March (one month after my initial call for contacts), I still had no new glasses or contacts. I had just the one sample pair of contacts from my exam, which I wore for over 2 weeks. During a follow up phone call, I was brushed off with an "any day now." The person on the phone, who I believe was the doctor, advised me that they'll call me when the contacts arrive (in a tone clearly emphasizing that they didn't want me calling to check). Unable to wait any longer, I stopped in to get a copy of my prescription. I was told my contacts still hadn't arrived but would probably be there in a few days. After getting the prescription, I called 1-800 CONTACTS to order new contacts. Less than 24 hours later, those contacts were at my door....and I was still waiting on Vision City. I subsequently told Vision City to cancel my order. There's no excuse why an eye doctor's office should take 2 weeks getting contacts when I was able to get them myself in less than 24 hours. Vision City management seems to be annoyed at having customers. However, I am paying them to provide a service to me, and they do not get my business unless they continue to earn it. I couldn't even find out the results to my eye exam from the doctor let alone receive my contacts or glasses in an acceptable time frame. Vision City has no excuse for the farce of customer service they've offered.

Most thorough eye exam I ever had. Great contact fitting service. Dr. Accetura came up with a clever and ingenious way to give me both distance and reading capability. Gave me a sample pair to try over the weekend. I highly recommend.

I have been a customer for years at Vision City and have known both the staff and the doctors to be competent, efficient, and friendly. Both my husband and I would not go to any other place for our glasses. We have brought in our glasses numerous times for adjustment, and the problem has been taken care of immediately.
