Strong Urgent Care

Took my 3 yr old daughter her to have her asthma symptoms treated ( I have 2 kids with it so I am very familiar with the routine. Albuterol, Atravent, and a script for Prednasone) While waiting in the waiting room she started to get little hives on her face (her skin is sensative and this does happen, nothing a bit of hydrocortosone cream cant fix) Well since her medical history shows she had a history of Peanut allergies, they decided to go into emergency mode over this! Treated my husband and I like we were stupid, would not listen to one word we had to say! They injected her with epinephrine against our wishes, then an oral done of benadryl and called an ambulance ( an $800 bill thank you!). My daughter is beside herself in fear, sobbing! We get to strong to find out they gave her the wrong dose of benadryl OR Should of never given her the injection! So if you ask me, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and ON THEIR WAY TO A MALPRACTICE LAWSUIT!
I went here yesterday for treatment diagnosis and treatment of cold related conjunctivitis. I'd never been there before. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I went in, filled out a couple of forms, and got right in. A nurse asked me the standard questions: on any medications, any allergies, family history, etc; and then the GP came in. She took a look, confirmed that it was conjunctivitis, and gave me a prescription. I think the total time I was there was less than 45 minutes. For common things where it won't work to make an appointment with your regular doctor - due to something needing immediate care (severe cold, bronchitis, etc) - I would definitely go here again.
receptionist is nice. Nurse and PA were indiifferent. Treated me like i did not know anything. called back as my primary MD is on vacation. was transferred to PA James Briggs who was VERY RUDE. Said he could not give out lab results over the phone. All I wanted to know if the antibiotic they prescribed was going to be effective based on culture and sensitivity report. NO need for the rudeness as I am still sick 2 days later.
Went there last night. As can be expected, the wait was a little long, but given only a few people are on staff and the amount of people waiting to be seen, it's understandable. The receptionist was very friendly. The nurse and PA were pleasant, and helpful, and once I was in a room I was not kept long before given a diagnosis and prescription. Facility was clean.
Went in for some issues, wondering what the hell was going on with me, the woman who saw me asked me a good number of questions, took her time, and was very thorough and friendly. I don't have insurance, so it's going to cost me $80 to $120 for the visit. I think it was worth the money, for sure.
