Great experience! I was impressed with the professionalism, caring attitudes and thoroughness of the staff and doctor at Dr. Eric's Total Vision Care. The office is well-organized and runs efficiently. There was no wait time to get my appointment started. The business has invested in new technology and testing procedures all went smoothly. The staff at Dr. Eric's is super-friendly and helpful, and genuinely concerned about the health of my eyes. They called me several days later to follow up on my treatment plan. I also was impressed with the level of expertise of the doctor, Dr. Eric Friedrich. He offered me some treatment options and information that I had not heard about from other eye doctors. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered my questions in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I did order new glasses from Dr. Eric's. They have a nice selection of frames including frameless and designer styles. I do have a high prescription and they are comfortable dealing with advanced lens technology and special orders. I will definitely come back, and will recommend Dr. Eric's to friends and family!
I had to go to a new doctor because my insurance was switched and no longer accepted at Lenscrafters. I noticed that Dr. Eric's was close by... so I made an appointment. My first appointment, I was there for over 2 hours. They kept moving me back and forth between rooms and doing so many tests. After dilating my eyes, they chose the contacts, had me try them on, and then tried to test my vision with them. My eyes were dilated - so that was just pointless. All it did was hurt my eyes and give me a huge headache. I knew right away that the strength was not right - dilated eyes or not. I told them about it but they just chose to ignore it. I got my trial pair, was given an appointment to come back in 2 weeks. The contacts were unbearable. They floated around my eyes and it was extremely blurry. I left 3 messages for them - saying I needed to come in and the contacts didn't work. They never returned my call! I went in for my follow up (which got pushed back because doctor went on vacation) and the doctor, once again, made me go through the whole 2 hour routine. The strength was wrong (SHOCKING!). He tried to give me another random brand of contact but I insisted that I use the same brand that I've had for the last 6 years. After trying to argue with me (saying that I shouldn't use the ones I have been), he agreed to order a trial pair for me and said "I'm done with you. Go to the front." It's been over a month and I am finally getting my SECOND pair of trial contacts to try. Hopefully the doctor got it right this time.... HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE DOCTOR. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. NEVER GO THERE UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!
