first off let me say if i could of not left a star i would of. I go in today to be seen, the front desk lady seemed okay, didn't really talk to me at first. So i fill out the form they have and i gave it back to the lady. She then seemed aggravated. She then proceeded to tell me that i had an outstanding balance and that has to be paid before i am able to been seen. Well first of all let me state i have not lived in Oklahoma since the end of 2010. I ask the lady what she is talking about because i have never been seen at urgent med before, she then told me that family med is linked to urgent med. okay not a big deal but i haven't gone there either. so anyways she then asked who (said my mothers name) and i told her it was my mother. She then said that i am responsible for her debt, and it needed to be paid off in order to be seen there. i said i am not paying it off because it was not me. she then said that i checked my mother in to family med in April of 09. well a little quick fact is i was 16. so please tell me why a 16 yr old would even be able to check their mother in when they are not 18 and the mother is perfectly capable of doing it herself. anyways. so then the lady decided to argue with me and tell me that my child, (she said was named my name) i am responsible for. okay lady i will give that to you to. i am. however I am the person that was trying to be seen there and she told me straight to my face that i am not Mikayla, My child is. When let me tell you she turned her screen and it showed my freaking picture and my name...so then i tell my mother what happened and she called up there and they told her a different story. Moral of all this, is there is PRIVACY laws. and Urgent med totally failed at that. I am not on my mothers account to be told stuff. so there fore i should of never been told what the balance was that my MOTHER owed. And it is not MY responsibility. Horrible experience and they have horrible customer service. I went to the ER and was seen in 30 min. In-Seen-Out....that fast!
