I went in with a rash, and I was taken back in a timely fashion. When I got into the room, the nurse took my vitals and got an idea of what I was coming in for. When the PA came in, she didn't take much time to really look at the rash and ask me any questions like, for example, had I recently changed detergents (which I had). She looked at it, disputed what I thought it was, then said, "Rashes are kinda funny. I'm going to go look in my handy dermatology book." She left, and just over 30 minutes later, the front desk girl comes in to the exam room and asks to charge my credit card... I was still sitting on the exam table, waiting for the PA to come back in to discuss the rash. She charges my card, then asks what pharmacy I use (still the front desk girl). She leaves, the nurse comes back in and says, "Okay, you're good to go." I asked what the deal was, and she said, "Here are your scripts, you can pick them up at the pharmacy." As she takes me outside the exam room, I ask her what we are treating. The PA was standing in the center area and overheard me ask and said, "Like I said, rashes are kinda funny. We'll start with this, if it doesn't get better, just come back in." The PA was young, so hopefully she'll learn from the experience that that was unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I understand rashes can be complicated and I don't expect healthcare providers to have all the answers right then and there (I was in the healthcare field, myself). But, she could've gotten a better medical history and asked more questions. She also should've come back in and said, "Look, I'm not sure what this is, this is what it could be... We'll start with this... etc." But she didn't. She also prescribed me prednisone, which I don't respond well to (and later came to find out this would've exacerbated my rash had I actually taken it). 1. There was no diagnosis (and a very poor attempt in doing so.) 2. No thorough medical history. 3. No discussion on possibilities of diagnoses. 4. No discussion of medications. 5. Basically no time with the PA at all. And lastly... Did the front desk girl REALLY come in to the exam room and ask to charge my card while I'm still sitting on the exam table waiting to see the PA? Yea, that's pretty bad. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. When they called to follow-up, which they'd done twice, I explained I wouldn't follow their regimen and I wasn't happy about the experience at all. They didn't bother to ask why, they simply don't care. Totally unprofessional. Spare yourself, go somewhere else.

Terrible experience. I would not recommend this as a place for health care! Although we were in and out of there quickly, the staff were not helpful in diagnosing the problem. The nurse practitioner did not listen to her patient and was very dismissive of what could have been a serious problem. An x-ray was taken, and we were told that we would receive a reading from the radiologist within 24 hours. We called to indicate at the end of the next day that we still had not heard back about last night's results and were told that the radiologist still hadn't read the x-ray. Well I sure hope that the x-ray does not indicate a serious problem...to me this indicates serious negligence on their part. Clearly their is a lack of concern for patient care. Although it is tempting to go to urgent care rather than sitting for hours in the ER, you are likely to receive better care at the hospital. Looking back, it is clear that we made the wrong choice for health care.

Terrible. I was the only person there, but I had to sit in the waiting room for a very long time. Then I had to sit in the exam room for ANOTHER very long time. Finally, the doctor showed up, but she didn't seem even willing to pretend to care about my problem. By far the worst attitude from a doctor that I've ever encountered in my life. I saw her for maybe 5-10 minutes after waiting for over an hour, and they charged my insurance company for over 200 dollars. At $200 for ten minutes, that comes to $1200 an hour. The doctors here are NOT worth $1200 an hour. Maybe $12, but even that seems generous. Stay away from this place.

I just got back from my second visit to Premier Urgent Care. I cannot say enough about this place. My first visit was for myself and tonight for my son's stitches. The staff is very friendly and professional. The care was great and prompt and the office is beautiful. Very glad we have this care center in our community.
