My experience at Live for Wellness was so profoundly life-changing that I am compelled to write my very first Google review to spread the word about this amazing treatment and people. When I decided to go to Live for Wellness, I was in severe pain and desperate. My “regular” physicians just gave me heavy pain pills that didn’t help, and they told me to do agonizing physical therapy that made my pain worse. I was hurting so much that I could not sit down for more than 10 seconds without excruciating pain in my back and shoulder. I was skeptical about chiropractic care, simply because I knew very little about it. On my first visit, after Sharon greeted me with genuine kindness and professionalism, Dr. Perdue checked me out and did x-rays, and then explained to me what was wrong with my spine and exactly what would fix it. At the time I did not realize that this was the permanent solution to my pain. Dr. Perdue is very personable and explains things in clear language, and she knows precisely what she is doing. At first, with each chiropractic adjustment, I noticed immediate relief from pain, but the pain would return. But, during the next few weeks, the length of time it took the pain to return decreased exponentially. I noticed major improvements after the third week. I was also getting therapeutic massages from the miraculous Michael after my adjustments. His fingers are adeptly magical. His demeanor and professionalism are unparalleled – far beyond other massage therapists. With the combination of Dr. Perdue’s adjustments and Michael’s massages (with the added benefit of their consultation about my specific issues), my relentless pain dissipated. After 10 weeks, I was totally pain-free! If you are concerned about cost, these prices are reasonable and the treatment is well worth it. You cannot get a better massage in Charleston for the price of Michael’s expertise. You have fewer appointments as you experience the benefits of this treatment. The first week, I saw Dr. Perdue four times, but at the end it was just once per week. And now, they fixed me! I can’t overstate the major impact these people have made on my quality of life.

I wanted to write another review about Dr. Perdue and her office team, but I could only edit my last review. So here is an update. Dr. Perdue, as always is very professional and listens to me when I explain what's going on. She is very knowledgeable about the entire body. I woke up one morning and my wrist was killing me. I couldn't even turn a doorknob without extreme pain! I tried to wear a brace, thinking it would get better. I type a lot at work, so it could have been carpal tunnel. Finally after 3 weeks of being stubborn I went into her office she adjusted my wrist and her massage therapist Michael dug right into to fix the issue. I am still in disbelief that my wrist is complete fine. No pain! After just one visit! Thank you Dr. Perdue and Michael! Last review: Dr. Perdue is one of the best Chiropractors I've ever seen. I've been in and out of physical therapy for about 10 years now and have seen many physical therapist and chiropractors.When I came to her, I couldn't walk. The pain was so bad in my low back due to a pinched nerve. The first adjustment helped a little, and within 2 weeks she had me back on my feet. I've never felt more welcomed and taken care of. She did a consultation and x-rays on my first visit and came up with a plan that worked with my busy life, budget and insurance! Yes, she takes insurance! One thing I really like about Dr. Perdue is she really listens to me. When I say where it hurts or what kind of pain I'm in she gets right down and adjusts me wonderfully. She always has a positive attitude and her staff is great. She has a massage therapist that works wonders too. I have honestly never had a better massage. Thank you for all your help getting me and keeping me back on my feet!

Dr. Perdue is a wonderful Chiropractor and has helped me greatly! Prior to visiting her, I suffered frequent headaches and pain. She was able to relieve my pain, and I feel much better. I would highly recommend her for all of your Chiropractic needs.
